will sell 26% in its Indian unit to two Indian entities — Global Holdings
and Tulip Telecom — for Rs 306 crore, an executive familiar with the

communications firm S Tel has been rejected by the Indian government, officials

entry into the Indian mobile handset market with the launch of 20 new
handsets.
